Cradle of Filth

Fazia algum tempo que não postava nada no blog, mas enfim voltei e voltei em alto estilo digo isso por que trago a aqui uma banda excepcional no gênero Black Metal estou falando do Cradle of Filth.
A banda originaria de Londres formada em 1991 pelo vocalista Daniel Davey  ou Dany Filth. Seu estilo original é o Black Metal mas a banda se divide em Death Metal e com algumas sonoridades de Gothic, a formação inicial da banda era composta John (baixista) Darrel (bateria) Robbin (Guitarras) Paul Ryan (Guitarras).
No começo a banda lançou algumas demos até que em 1994 a banda gravou seu LP The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh. Apos o sucesso do LP a banda assina com uma gravadora maior, e com a entrada da vocalista Sarah Jezebel Deva a banda lança o Dusk... And Her Embrace. Logo apos o lançamento começa um roca de membros mas com o grupo estabilizado a banda lança Cruelty And The Beast em 1998. 
Depois desse disco o Cradle da um salto e começa a fica reconhecida mundialmente e o vampirismo se torna marca do grupo porem a banda começa a enfrentar repressões de grupos religiosos principalmente em uma turnê feita no EUA. Em 1999 a banda lança o EP Fron the Cradle to Slave.
Ja em 2000 e lançado o Midian considerado pelos fãs como o melhor trabalho do grupo a repercussão do disco foi muito grande e consolidou a banda de vez no cenário Black Metal. Com isso a banda assino com a Sony em 2002 uma fato que surpreendeu pois a gravadora não costuma trabalhar com bandas desse estilo.
No ano seguinte a  banda lança o quinto trabalho de estúdio o Damnation And A Day . Em 2004 a banda lança outro disco fodastico  Nymphetamine esse conta com a participação de King Diamond na faixa Devil Woman.
Mas uma vez trocando de gravadora agora com a poderosa Roadrunner a banda se estabiliza e lança Thornography 2006 e Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder em 2008
O nono trabalho de estúdio vem em 2010 Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa com uma performasse impecável de Dani e rifs pesados. Dois anos depois a banda laça um projeto inovado o Midnight In The Labyrinth onde as musicas lançadas no inicio de carreira receberam um arranjo diferente, orquestrados e com cara de trilha sonora. No mesmo ano a a banda lança o The Manticore And Other Horrors o black metal sinfônico pode ser visto nesse álbum que é marca tradicional da banda. Assim é o Cradle of Filth uma banda amada e odiada mas muito competente e mostra mesmo oque quer e oque se propõem a fazer.
