Sabaton

Sabaton é uma banda de power metal sueca, formada em 1999, a banda tem como característica conter em suas letras temas relacionados a guerras históricas.  outro fato curioso e banda possui um tanque de guerra que seguidamente e levado para os shows o Tank Drum. Em 1999, Joakim Brodén, Rickard Sundén, Oskar Montelius, Daniel Mÿhr, Daniel Mullback e Pär Sundström juntaram-se para formar a banda Sabaton.  

No ano de 2000 a band lança seu CD promo First for Fight que hoje é um compilação. Em 2002 seria gravado o segundo disco da banda Metalizer, que seria distribuído como álbum de estreia da banda, porem devido alguns problemas o álbum foi abandonado vindo a ser lançado anos depois. 

O primeiro álbum oficial da banda foi lançado em 2005 Primo Victoria lançado pela gravadora Black Lodge, sendo a que a faixa titulo se tornou um marco indispensável no shows.

Attero Dominatus foi o segundo álbum da banda lançado em 2006, no ano seguinte enfim a banda lança o Metalizer, e em 2008 lança The Art of War uma excelente trabalho mostrando toda a maturidade da banda com faixa épicas com Ghost Division, 40:1 sendo a primeira fazendo alusão a 7º divisão panzer, e asegunda faz alusão a batalha de Wizna, travada em solo polonês durante a invasão nazista.

Em 2010 e lançado o Coat of Arms sendo a maioria de suas faixas terem relação com a segunda guerra mundial. 

Em 31 de março de 2012 o vocalista Joakim Brodén confirmou os rumores de que a banda estaria indo em direções diferentes. Os guitarristas Oskar Montelius e Rikard Sundén, o baterista Daniel Mulback e o tecladista Daniel Myhr decidiram sair da banda, sendo substituídos pelos guitarristas Chris Rörland e Thobbe Englund e o baterista Robban Bäck, no mesmo ano é lançado Carolus Rex esse álbum esta disponível em idioma sueco e inglês. 

Dois anos depois é lançado Heroes pelo selo Nuclear Blast e o primeiro com a nova formação. Em 2016 a banda anuncia a capa de seu novo trabalho The Last Stand. Em 25 de julho de 2016, a banda anunciou via sua página do Facebook que o guitarrista Thobbe Englund tinha deixado a banda.[10] Englund fez seu último show com o Sabaton no Rockstad: Falun 2016, onde seu substituto foi anunciado como Tommy Johansson.

Ainda em 2016 o Sabaton sai em sua turnê mundial passando pelo Brasil, nos seguintes lugares Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre e Curitiba, seguindo emBuenos Aires, Santiago, Lima, Cidade do Mexico, Monterrey, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Krasnodar, São Petersburgo, Minsk, Moscou, Mar Báltico (em que todos os ingressos se esgotaram nos primeiros cinco dias), Riga, Vilnius, Hamburgo, Oberhausen, Antwerp, Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Londres, Lille, Paris, Toulouse, Bilbao, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona, Lyon, Milão, Viena, Ludwigsburg, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Saarbrucken, Bask, Bamberg, Munique, Helsinki, Tallinn e Gdansk.
